Ever since he broke into the mainstream, Freddie Gibbs has found more chemistry with the West Coast than his own label. Of course, Freddie Gibbs shot to fame when he signed with Young Jeezy back in 2011, but they never dropped much music together. It ended up being Madlib who Freddie Gibbs had the most chemistry with.
They have collaborated on several mixtapes that have dropped over the past two years and each project has been met with critical acclaim. Now, the duo are preparing to take the next step and drop an album of their own. Before this album, they plan to drop their new EP, Deeper.
With Cocaine Pinata to be released in October, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib are doing a prequel, of sorts. They have come together for Deeper and they have the track listing for the project out already. Deeper is to be released in the next few weeks, with the release date being September 13.
