Right before the peak of his career, Jay-Z expanded his Roc-A-Fella label. Since he was always rapping about Brooklyn and New York pride, it was assumed that he would sign more New York acts to his label. He did not, instead he signed Philadelphia-based rappers Beanie Sigel and Freeway.
Quickly, Beanie Sigel and Freeway emerged to be among the most loyal members of the Roc. They also became partners in crime. Had it not been for them, the Young Gunz would have never signed to Roc-A-Fella Records. Freeway always expressed his gratitude towards Jay and his loyalty to Beans.
Coming completely from left field, Beanie Sigel began feuding with Jay-Z. The things that Sigel said have left the entire hip hop world in shock. It has been because of that why such sites as SOHH have been asking other rappers for their opinion of this feud.
Now, Freeway has broken his silence on the matter. He said that he has no issues with Jay-Z and that he has no issues with Beanie Sigel. Freeway owes a great deal of his success to both of these men, so he has decided to stay out of the storm.
