French Montana goes platinum with “Unforgettable” single featuring Swae Lee [PHOTO]

Honestly, a lot of people forgot about French Montana, as a rapper, coming into 2017. When he was fighting for recognition, French went on an unprecedented run. In 2011, French Montana dropped new music almost daily, but he took forever to drop his album.

Even now, French Montana has only dropped two official albums in the six years since he got signed. But, none of that matters when he drops a massive hit record. A lot of people didn’t know what to expect when news broke of French and Swae Lee doing a track.

However, French Montana’s “Unforgettable” has lived up to its title and is one of the summer’s biggest songs. If not for the efforts of Khaled, 2 Chainz, Future, Drake, and Gucci Mane, French Montana would own the summer. Even with the competition, French has seen “Unforgettable” go platinum.
