Even though the Excuse My French sales are considered disappointing by some, French Montana cannot be happier. Most of the rappers he started out with never even had a chance to release an album, let alone go as far as he has. In spite of all, French Montana still placed the focus back on New York hip hop.

Excuse My French may have come later than expected, but it is still filled with nothing but hits and classic music. A master of the collaboration, French Montana has a wide range of potential hits and hot songs. The features on the album come from Ace Hood, Nicki Minaj, Max B, 2 Chainz, Drake, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and more.

When the results from the first week came out, French Montana was revealed to have moved 49,000 copies. Moving forward, French Montana still debuted high on the charts at a time when it is becoming a difficult task. On the Billboard Album Charts, French Montana debuted at number four.
