Last night, it was reported that Rob49 was shot at a French Montana video shoot, in Miami Gardens. This was by DJ Khaled’s The Licking restaurant. Rob went on to supposedly be in stable condition at a local hospital, while French’s bodyguard is fighting for his life.

Over 10 people are said to have been struck by the gunfire, on Thursday night. However, French Montana was not one of them. Now, he’s taken to Twitter to speak on the tragic event that he saw unfold.

“Last night, I was in Miami celebrating the release of my CB6 mixtape w/ friends at a local restaurant. We unfortunately were at the wrong place, at the wrong time when an incident took place that left people hurt. Our thoughts & prayers are w/ the victims & families at this time.”

French also added that this wasn’t a video shoot as initially reported, but simply a celebration of his new “Coke Boys 6” mixtape. This was in collaboration with DJ Drama, as 29 new songs were released. This project included features from A$AP Rocky, Benny The Butcher, EST Gee, Chinx, and more.
