Two years ago, French Montana completed the biggest and most-unexpected comeback hip hop had. In 2011, French Montana took over the NYC streets, and signed with Bad Boy. The 2012-2013 period saw him run off a string of hit singles.
French Montana scored one more hit, in 2014, but his sophomore album was delayed, and eventually shelved. By 2015, French appeared more focused on movies, and his other work. So, when he returned with his single, “Unforgettable,” in 2017, it was a shock that it was so big.
Apparently, French Montana is back in the studio, two years after the biggest hit of his career. Recently, he stopped by Power 105.1, and he talked with Angie Martinez. He spoke on the viral video of him knocking the phone out of a man’s hand, and also his release date, plus his VMAs statement on immigration.
