When 50 Cent began dissing French Montana, it was very disappointing for most because many compared the two rappers. Both rose from the mixtape circuit to achieve mainstream success, putting New York back on the map. But, after French Montana doing an interview about 50 Cent and Rick Ross, Fif deemed him the new Ja Rule.
Seeing how Ja Rule is a multi-platinum selling artist, French Montana probably did not take offense to this statement from 50 Cent. But, 50 Cent began hitting closer to home when he claimed he paid French Montana to get footage of DJ Khaled’s mother. Despite his attempts, French Montana and DJ Khaled remained close.
In several interviews, French Montana said there is no beef between he and 50 Cent and he confirmed this when he visited Shade 45 to talk to DJ Whoo Kid. During his interview, French Montana revealed he and 50 Cent have not only mended fences, the two will soon be working together. Already, the two have reportedly put several tracks together and they may appear on an upcoming album.
