‘Friday’ Star, Tommy “Tiny” Lister, Passes Away at 62

2020 has struck again. Tommy ‘Tiny’ Lister, who is known most for his acting career and appearing in the ‘Friday’ movie series, has passed away at the age of 62, according to TMZ. He was pronounced dead at his Marina Del Rey apartment on Thursday, shortly before 3 PM.

As of now, there is no cause of death for Lister. When law enforcement appeared at his home, he was found unconscious. During his career, he also appeared in films such as ‘Players Club’ and ‘Judgement Day.’ In the Friday series, his character was Deebo, who tried to terrorize Craig, the role played by Ice Cube.

In August, Lister also partnered with Cemetary Tim in Los Angeles to film an ad. This was to help families get customized tombstones for their deseased loved ones. Lister also took the time to meet 700 people for a meet and greet there. He also signed autographs and recorded audio messages. At the start of the pandemic, Lister delivered medical and recreational marijuana in his partnership with Pineapple Express in LA.
