Fridayy to release self-titled debut album on August 25
Over the past year, Fridayy has been one of the biggest breakout artists in the industry. In 2022, his stardom was officially stamped, after appearing on DJ Khaled’s Grammy-winning “God Did” record with Jay Z, Rick Ross Lil Wayne, and John Legend.
Furthermore, Fridayy also dropped his debut “Lost In Melody” EP, that fall. That project contained 12 songs in total as a result of the deluxe edition, and included collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, and Asake.
Meanwhile, Fridayy has also just announced his forthcoming debut studio album. On Monday, the R&B star revealed that this will be a self-titled project, and will be released on August 25. This is led by newly released singles from this past summer, such as “Don’t Give It Away” featuring Chris Brown and “When It Comes To You.”
Friday added that the music on the album is for the real, and people going through pain and struggles everyday in life, and he wants to serve as an inspiration. He also emphasized that the self-titled album’s music is bigger than himself, and is a “life album.”
