The internet has led to the rise of the independent record labels. All an artist really needs is an online fan base in order to find success. In the case of Funk Volume, they have taken this to new heights, as Hopsin had all kinds of success in 2011 and 2012 and now this success is happening for Dizzy Wright and Jarren Benton in 2013.

Funk Volume is continuing to rise the ranks and is fast becoming a force in the rap game with all of their moves. Crews have returned to the forefront of hip hop and it’s created an opening for Funk Volume. Dominating the independent scene, as a whole, the entire crew is having success.

On Twitter, the members of Funk Volume have revealed they had a major announcement about the label. Most assumed it was the addition of a new artist to the roster of the label and they were partially right. Three producers were signed to the label, consisting of DJ Hoppa, Kato, and Rikio.
