Future earns his seventh straight number one album, with “I Never Liked You”

Future’s “I Never Liked You” becomes number one album in US  

A week ago, Future released his ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You.” This was one of the most anticipated albums of the year, as it is Future’s first album since May 2020.

I Never Liked You has officially had a massive first week. According to Chart Data, it has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. This now becomes Future’s seventh straight number one album. This project sold 227,000 units in its first week.

I Never Liked You contained 16 songs, with appearances from Drake, Kanye West, Tems, Gunna, and more. The deluxe edition was released earlier this week, as six new songs were included. Features added, were Lil Durk, 42 Dugg, Lil Baby, Young Scooter, and Babyface Ray. Future’s “Worst Day” single was also included.

Wait For U” featuring Drake and Tems has since become the most popular song so far, on I Never Liked You. On Thursday, Future also released the video, for this collaboration.

Future’s number one album run dates all the way back to July 2015, with the release of his “DS2” album. That same year, he also topped the charts with his “What A Time To Be Alive” mixtape, with Drake
