Back in 2011, Future was the biggest breakout artist in the game and it came courtesy of his “Tony Montana” single. The record was remixed by Drake who reached out to Future to make it the official single, but he didn’t appear in the music video. Feeling a bit slighted, Future still decided to work with Drake in the future.
All appeared to be well, as they toured together and Drake included Future as an opening act on “Would You Like A Tour?” As most already know, Future is preparing his sophomore album, Honest, which is due in a few weeks. In an interview in promoting the new album, Future spoke about Honest being better than NWTS.
Apparently, Future’s comments led to Drake removing Future from his tour. Removing him from the tour cuts a lot of money out of Future’s earnings because of the scheduled dates. Future is not taking this lying down and he has filed a lawsuit worth $1.5 million against Drake.
