Last year, Future made good on his promise to get back to his roots and make dope music. His song, “Commas,” was the anthem of the summer, despite his album coming as a surprise. Taking it back to his roots, he titled his third album, Dirty Sprite 2, the sequel to his breakout tape.
Future came a long way since 2011 and topped Billboard for the first time with DS2. The album did well and Future joined forces with Drake, with them also topping Billboard. Just this week, Future did it again with EVOL, the new album.
While Future has a new chart-topping album to focus on, his previous one is still selling. The album, DS2, continues getting strong sales and the album has finally reached 500,000 copies. Now, Future has another gold plaque coming, which is another win for him.
