Last year, Future enjoyed an amazingly successful year. Feeling as if he had to redeem himself, Future went on a frenzy with successful music releases. However, by the time the summer came, Future had yet to release an album.
Throughout the summer of 2015, there were rumored surprise albums from Jay Z, Beyonce, and Drake. In the midst of that discussion, Future revealed he would soon release a surprise album. Still, Epic Records would confirm his album release and it was a success.
When Future first made mainstream acclaim, he promised he would release an album every year. With the exception of 2013, he has lived up to this, as he promised Super Future in late 2012 or 2013, but scrapped the album for Honest. On his Snapchat, however, he leaked snippets from Super Future, leading some to believe it is still on the table.
