Over the weekend, Future and Metro Boomin’s new joint album “We Don’t Trust You” debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart. 17 songs were released, including collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, and more.
Meanwhile, Future and Metro just earned a number one hit in the US, from We Don’t Trust You. This is for “Like That” with Kendrick Lamar, as it has debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, per Chart Data. As a result, this is Future’s third number one hit, and Metro’s first. Moreover, Like That also marks Kendrick Lamar’s third overall number one hit.
Fans instantly had Like That buzzing online, mostly due to Kendrick Lamar’s verse. Here, he stunned listeners by subliminally dissing Drake and J. Cole. This was done on the bars “F*** sneak dissin’, first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” as well as “Motherf*ck the big three, n****, it’s just big me.”
Meanwhile, Future and Metro are also planning to put out another joint album, next month. In March, the two initially announced an April 12 release date.
