A year ago, Future was riding an all-time high, when DJ Khaled put him on “I Got The Keys,” where he provided the hook and bridge to two Jay-Z verses. Those verses were the first Jay-Z verses since Magna Carta Holy Grail. That cemented Future’s status in the game, at that time.
However, the summer of 2017 has seen things change, as Jay-Z is back with 4:44, his first album since Magna Carta. On this album, Jay-Z has some lines that seem to go at Future. When the album first hit, Future took shots, via Twitter.
Recently, Jay-Z sat down with Elliott Wilson and he explained that line, saying he wasn’t going at Future. He would also point out how people only got out of his line the comments about the moneyphone. But, regardless, Future still takes offense, and he took more shots at Jay on Twitter.
