Auto-tune is not quite dead, as Future has revived the popular near-sub-genre from four years ago. Crediting his voice for being somewhat sing-songy, Future has brought something different to the game. Mixtape success led to Future signing a recording deal with L.A. Reid’s Epic Records.
Since signing the major deal, Future has been working on his debut album, Pluto. The months have gone by and now Future is preparing to release his album. Recently, the breakout Atlanta star was in Charlotte, North Carolina. While in Charlotte, Future opened up on a number of topics.
In Flex We Trust caught up with Future and he discussed his creative process, the Epic deal, L.A. Reid, and, of course, Pluto.
