Future’s “I Never Liked You” becomes his eighth number one album

Last week, Future released his highly anticipated ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You.” This project contained 16 tracks, with appearances from Drake, Kanye West, Tems, Gunna, Kodak Black, and more. “Wait For U” featuring Drake and Tems ended up being the most popular record.

Earlier this week, Future also added six new songs to the I Never Liked You deluxe edition. The “Worst Day” single was added, as well as features from Lil Durk, Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, and more.

On Sunday, I Never Liked You also officially become Future’s eighth total number one album, on the Billboard 200 chart. It sold 220,000 units, in its first week, per Chart Data. 283.75 million on-demand streams were also accumulated. This is also the biggest first week in sales for an album, in 2022. I Never Liked You is also the biggest first week in sales, in Future’s career.

I Never Liked You also becomes Future’s seventh straight number one album, on the Billboard 200 chart. It’s his eighth overall. This was Future’s first album since May 2020, which was “High Off Life.”
