G-Eazy Speaks Out In Support Of A$AP Rocky. Calls out Sweden and Cites White Privilege and Racism in Case Handling

By Prince Hakeem
Attention white rappers and other influencers in or related to hip-hip and rap entertainment, this is how you use the social capital which you have as a white person in this world. A great case in point is G-Eazy. The Bay Area rapper took to Instagram showing his support for A$AP Rocky who is still sitting in a Swedish jail for defending himself and his friends. G-Eazy cited racism and white privilege, calling out the Swedish justice system for how they’re handling A$AP’s case in comparison to his run-in with the law when he got in trouble.
Via TMZ:
G-Eazy was arrested for assault, possession of drugs and use of narcotics. There was no video of the attack, yet prosecutors allowed him to strike a deal a day-and-a-half later … he pled guilty to violent resistance, a crime of violence against an official and illegal drug possession. His sentence — a $10k fine and probation. He was also ordered to pay the security guard $900.
