Since early in his career, G-Eazy has always been popular. Just like many others, all he needed was a notable hit record. Already, he reached pop success with “Me, Myself, & I,” from 2015, but he had yet to do the same thing with a hip hop record.

G-Eazy made himself a household name with “No Limit,” where he teamed up with A$AP Rocky and Cardi B. Since the summer, Cardi B has owned the game. Her rising star definitely helped G-Eazy propel himself into a superstar.

Recently, G-Eazy stopped by Hot 97, where he talked to Ebro and Rosenberg. The three talked about how diverse hip hop has become, which is a bit of a talking point, right now. He also spoke on “FDT,” no explanation necessary, and Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.
