G Herbo talks humility, Chicago’s hip hop diversity, his new album, and more on #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

The city of Chicago is home to a wide range of artists. Before female rappers began making a strong comeback, outside of Nicki Minaj, many femcees from Chicago was breaking through. Then, there was also this guy, G Herbo, formerly known as Lil Herb.

G Herbo has risen to become the most-popular rapper from Chicago not named Chief Keef or Lil Durk, in this new era. As his popularity continues to rise, his music makes a bigger impact. The newest album from him dropped last month.

Stopping by “The Breakfast Club,” G Herbo spoke on his humble perspective, with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. As a Chicago native, he spoke on his city’s diversity. He also discussed his new album.
