Through his career, Klay Thompson has always been more of a secondary star. When the Warriors had their sudden rise, back in 2015, he was definitely the “little” “Splash Brother.” But, the dynamics of the team have changed since then.

Despite the strong play of Steph Curry, in these 2019 NBA Playoffs, especially against Portland, Toronto has been too much. While Steph did deliver one win, Klay Thompson has proven to be the X factor. In a scenario where it looks like GSW wins, Klay is leading.

Of course, given the Warriors’ recent luck, Klay Thompson would go down with injury, as soon as the team got going. It was looking bad, very bad, as Klay walked off the court. Even though he still left the game, fans on Twitter are celebrating him for coming back to shoot his free throws.
