Born and raised in Los Angeles, Compton to be exact, Game grew up being a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. His early years, Game was growing up and the Lakers won five championships during their showtime era. Game’s early adult years consisted of the Kobe-Shaq dynasty.

The Kobe-Shaq dynasty effectively ended when the Miami Heat traded for the latter and a rivalry was born. Each year during Shaq’s time in Miami, the Heat played and defeated the Lakers on Christmas day. Even after Shaquille O’Neal’s retirement, this trend has continued.

Game attended the Lakers game against the Heat to show his support, after once guaranteeing LeBron James would never win a title. Later, Game poked fun at LeBron’s mother before he won two consecutive titles. With many predicting a three-peat, Game was supporting his Lakers and he ran into Kevin Hart, posting the photo to Instagram.
