Before the hip hop mainstream truly knew who Game was, his gang affiliation was already known. Young Buck shouted this out on G-Unit’s “Poppin’ Them Thangs” single, in the line “I hate when niggas out here claiming that gang, you ain’t no crip like Snoop, you ain’t no blood like Game.” Since then, Game has done little to hide this in his lyrics.
Growing up in Los Angeles, Game obviously was exposed to this life and he lived it, but he had two things going for him. In addition to his growing music career, Game also was a basketball star. Baron Davis became his best friend on the court and the two remain close though their stardom.
Recently, Game appeared in Philadelphia and he had the time to sit down with The Uber Urban. With his gang life being a part of him, Game talked about the Los Angeles gang scene. During the interview, Game broke down all of the gang signs for all of the people who are interested in knowing how it really goes down.
