Game is the first artist in Billboard history to have albums debut in top five in back-to-back weeks

Currently, Game is sitting as one of the hottest rappers in the game. A lot of people try to discredit him for not being as popular as he was ten years ago. Truth of the matter is that few artists are what they were, in terms of popularity, a decade ago.

Game is one of those artists who fits the bill for a “young OG,” meaning he is still young despite being in the game for so long. This gives him a rare vantage point with the younger LA artists emerging. Almost all of the new generation looks up to Game.

Now, they have another reason to look up to the man who put Compton back on the map and “brought the nigga Dr. Dre back to the ‘hood.” He went all out for The Documentary 2, even making The Documentary 2.5 to complete the album. Both albums dropped in consecutive weeks and hit Billboard’s top five, making history.
