In times like these, Jay-Z’s “Off That” track, featuring Drake off The Blueprint 3 comes t mind. There is a line on the song where Jay-Z addresses racists. Who knew the world would go back to 1864 in the 2010s, on certain level?
Several young, black, men have been killed by law enforcement officers, or their deaths have been pardoned by officers of the law. After Eric Garner was killed by cops in New York City to no justice, the city rioted. But, now, people are avenging Eric Garner by killing innocent cops.
The situation is saddening, because a life is a life, but there are some who feel this is what is needed to restore some form of balance. Apparently, Game falls into this category, as a recent post on Instagram shows him addressing the situation. News is all over the New York City violence now that the two cops have died and this prompted Game to share the article about that on Instagram with “I guess y’all can’t breathe, either” as the caption,
