However, ignorant actions from a man named George Zimmerman stopped this from happening. Every day, the story is played by the media, with the latest update taking place.

Recent reports have stated Trayvon Martin was suspended from school, due to a possible possession of marijuana. Martin’s mother took offense to this, saying her son was already killed and now the media is trying to kill his reputation. Regardless of what he did at school, a young man was killed for no reason.

The hip hop community has embraced Trayvon Martin and his family. Plies recorded a song in his memory. Several other rappers have spoken out about the situation. Game recently broke his silence on the Trayvon Martin murder. He said it proves racism still exists during his interview with MTV News.
