Game teams up with gang leaders to fund funeral for slain L.A. boy, has raised $7,000
This year, Game didn’t give the world a popular radio hit with Chris Brown, Tyga, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa. Instead, Game delivered Operation Kill Everything, his holdover mixtape. Game refrained from releasing a new album this year because of his deal with Cash Money Records.
Charlamagne Tha God may not be a fan of the label move, but Game helped to further the legacy of Birdman. But, Game didn’t do much music this year and it made it much easier on him to focus on giving back. Most rappers are always giving back and Game vowed to give away $1 million of his own money in 2013.
Game recently teamed up with Los Angeles gang leaders, according to TMZ. There was a seven-year-old boy who was killed in Los Angeles, senselessly. Now, Game has gotten with some gang leaders to pay for his funeral and he has already raised $7,000 for the cause.
