Chaos in the streets, this isn’t some under-developed nation, at war, this is right here in America. The National Guard has been sent into Gastonia, North Carolina, of all places. This is a town located just thirty minutes from Charlotte, North Carolina’s largest city.
Incorrectly, Hip-HopVibe.com reported the ice cream incident, shared by Lyndon C Palmer, on Facebook, as Durham. But, Tony’s Ice Cream Shop is in Gastonia. A young black woman was arrested, after being denied service, for wearing a Black Lives Matter pin, for trespassing.
After the wrongful arrest of the young black woman, peaceful protesters gathered at Tony’s Ice Cream Shop, in Gastonia. The National Guard was called in and protesters were teargassed. While protesters were being teargassed, an open white supremacist was marching down the street with Confederate flags, with one running behind the guards, when confronted by protesters.
