Local leaders are seemingly under target, right now. The West Coast is still reeling from Nipsey Hussle being taken, far too soon. Now, the city of Baltimore, which has already endured enough devastation for a lifetime, is dealing with more.
One of their prominent local leaders is Gerald Brown, a former basketball star. While he didn’t have the biggest platform, all that he used was for a higher cause. His time was spent being an example in his community and making viral videos.
Over the weekend, he was in Northwest Baltimore, where he was fatally shot. Gerald Brown became yet another community leader, taken far too soon, at the hand of a bullet. Worst of all, many people on social media said his murder all stemmed from a joke, that ended up becoming personal.
