Germaine Mason, Olympian high jumper, gets killed in motorcycle crash with Usain Bolt and other athletes

There is an eerie feeling in the world of sports, right now. While the sports world is still mourning with Isaiah Thomas, of the Boston Celtics, in the NBA, for his sister, there is another death. Once again, there is an automobile accident at the root of the story.

Germaine Mason, a native of Jamaica, was off riding motorcycles with a crew of other athletes. Among them is Usain Bolt, the runaway breakout star of 2016. During the Olympics, he made himself into a household name.

Unfortunately, Germaine Mason finds himself also on the verge of becoming a household name, all over again. The retired Olympic high jumper got into a motorcycle crash this afternoon. Sadly, the injuries were too much for him to overcome and he died from the accident.
