Geto Boys’ Bushwick Bill’s Daughter Says He’s Still Fighting For His Life After False Reports Of Him Passing Away From His Battle with Pancreatic Cancer
Earlier today, there were numerous reports that Geto Boys member Bushwick Bill had passed away from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was originally diagnosed in February. Now, it appears that Bill is still alive and fighting for his life.
Per TMZ, Bill’s daughter revealed that he’s still alive and needs prayers and support. Bill’s publicist also confirmed this. His daughter criticized people in the industry for being quick to “write him off as dead so they can capitalize off it.” Fellow Geto Boys member Scarface had put up an RIP post on his Instagram earlier today but ended up being deleted.
Bill’s publicist added that false information about him passing spread like wildfire. This comes after Bill missed a scheduled appearance at a Dallas nightclub last night. Promoters were made aware of his health in advance though. Bill’s family and friends are with him at the hospital now. Hopefully he’s able to pull through and beat this horrible disease. He’s been going through chemotherapy since being diagnosed.
