It is no longer news to hip hop artists about branding to stay relevant in the game, past making records. In the current hip hop landscape, it seems as if every rapper has their own record label and product line. Ghostface Killiah is no different, as he has established himself among the legendary rappers in history and recently began his venture into merchandising.
Ghostface Killah recently launched his GFK product line and he has a number of new products on the way, as 2012 gets into full swing. The Wu-Tang rapper has a number of products available for pre-order. Over the past few years, the connection between hip hop and skateboarding has been deepening, something Ghostface recognized.
With his GFK product line being designed by Marvel illustrator, Mike del Mundo. Discussing the new product line, which features skateboard decks and t-shirts, Ghostface Killah said this line is for his real hip hop skateboarding fans. The skateboard decks are going for $135, while the t-shirts are going for $20 and $30.
