Giannis owns Twitter, as fans react to his block against Deandre Ayton #MILvsPHX #NBAFinals

In 2019, Giannis Antetokounmpo came seemingly out of nowhere to dominate the league. Prior to 2019, his Milwaukee Bucks were a fringe playoff team, at best. A six year veteran, Giannis suddenly came through with an MVP season, leading the Bucks to the NBA’s best record.
With the spotlight on him, Giannis’ Bucks had some infamous playoff meltdowns. The 2019 playoffs saw them blow a 2-0 lead, to the Raptors. Then, in the bubble, in the 2020 playoffs, the Bucks were upset by the Miami Heat, who they swept in 2021.
Giannis’ Bucks have overcome their fair share of adversity, in 2021. In the second round, they fell behind 0-2, to the Brooklyn Nets, only to defeat them, and they have rallied, in the NBA Finals, from 0-2, to a 2-2 tie with the Phoenix Suns. The block Giannis had, against Deandre Ayton, solidified the Bucks’ win, and Twitter is still going in over it.
