Gilbert Arenas comes to Nicki Minaj’s defense after Funkmaster Flex clowns her, saying DJ Clue doesn’t like her, either, by saying Remy Ma’s been irrelevant for at least eight years

The ongoing drama between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma has had major ripple effects throughout entertainment. While Remy Ma is the veteran with longevity, Nicki Minaj has the popularity. Technically, the two are from different eras.
Remy Ma debuted, in the eyes of most, on “Lean Back” in 2004. But, she had been around Fat Joe since 2000 and on his records since 2001, stealing the show. Then, her debut album dropped in 2005, before she split from Fat Joe, then going to prison in 2008.
Nicki Minaj, meanwhile, started blowing up in 2007 and ended up signing with Young Money in 2009. Since then, she’s consistently kept herself in the spotlight, becoming big on the pop scene. However, with Remy Ma, the radio has seemed to side against Nicki, with Funkmaster Flex clowning her for trying to connect with DJ Clue via her TIDAL playlist, but Gilbert Arenas, former Washington Wizards All-Star, spoke up for Nicki in regards to Remy.
