Suddenly, a major focus is back on the Philadelphia hip hop scene. Mixtapes helped bring the shift back to Philadelphia and it has helped put Gillie Da Kid back in the spotlight. Gillie Da Kid released King of Philly 2 and then he lived up to the title when he had Will Smith come to his studio session.
King of Philly 2 is filled with songs that are ready to be put on albums. All of the biggest names in the game have made appearances on the mixtape. Jeremih is among the people featured on the mixtape, he shows up on the song, “Tattoo.” The sound of the song is geared toward the summer, so Gillie Da Kid made “Tattoo” his next single.
With the music video coming soon, Gillie Da Kid decided to give the world a teaser of what he has in store. “Tattoo” is definitely the next single and the music video will be out in time for the summer. In promotion of the upcoming music video, Gillie Da Kid released some behind the scenes photos.
