Gillie Da Kid recently made headlines, when Birdman called him out. Birdman explained the extent of his business with Gillie. He said that Gillie Da Kid never did all that he claimed to do with Lil Wayne. In addition, Birdman said he never made any money from Gillie’s affiliation with Cash Money Records. As a result, Gillie has now responded to Birdman’s claims.
Gillie Da Kid first made a name for himself as a member of Major Figgas. After that, he began to pursue things as a solo artist. As a result, he landed with Cash Money Records. During that span of time, many said he influenced Lil Wayne’s style. This is something Gillie has also said in the past. However, Birdman claimed all of that is untrue.
Gillie Da Kid launched the highly successful “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast. The success of the show led to Gillie and his cousin, Wallo, closing a $100 million deal with Barstool Sports. Because of this, Gillie is saying that he’s currently generating more money than Birdman. In response to Birdman saying he made no money with Gillie, Gil said he’s more profitable in this current era, than Birdman.
