Philadelphia’s hip hop scene has always provided an interesting mix. Many of the stars on the Philadelphia scene have clashed at one time or another. Gillie Da Kid has received a lot of press over the past year over his situation with Meek Mill, which he discussed with Hip Hop Vibe in July.
Interestingly enough, Gillie Da Kid talked about his issue with Meek Mill and the King of Philly debate, he referenced Beanie Sigel. He said there is only one King of Philly, just like Beanie Sigel is the only Broad Street Bully. Before they had their mutual respect, Gillie Da Kid and Beanie Sigel had beef with each other.
