Gillie Da King has been one of the most transformative rappers in the game. While he’s not the first rapper to become a podcaster, he closed a major deal. Last year, Gillie and Wallo closed a $100 million deal for Million Dollaz Worth of Game. Prior to that, Gillie crowned himself as the best basketball player among all of the rappers. For the second time, he and DaBaby faced off for this crown in Charlotte.
Gillie Da Kid more or less retired from creating new music, since starting the podcast. As Gillie was getting into the podcast game, DaBaby was taking over the industry. After four years on the mixtape grind, DaBaby broke into the mainstream. During the summer of 2019, DaBaby took over, and he enjoyed a two year run. Over the past two years, he’s faced major backlash.
Gillie Da Kid recently linked up with DaBaby in Charlotte. The two already played a game of basketball, a little over a year ago. Today, footage has been shared of their rematch. This time, they played a simple shootout game. Both rappers just traded long range jump shots. When one missed, the other went up and took their shots.
