Gina Rodriguez sparks controversy, when she said the “N-word,” singing The Fugees’ “Ready or Not” + Issues public apology that gets dragged on social media [VIDEOS]

This afternoon, Gina Rodriguez was in her feels, playing some old school music. While The Fugees are an acquired taste for some, they have classic records. The top of the list is “Ready or Not,” a song that most seem to love.

Gina Rodriguez, of “Jane The Virgin” fame, was getting herself ready, this morning, and shared on her IG Story. While getting ready, she was playing her music. Her song of choice was “Ready or Not” and Gina was rapping Lauryn Hill’s lyrics.

Thinking nothing of it, Gina Rodriguez rapped the “N-word,” leading to all of Twitter going in on her. The fans quickly turned on her, forcing an apology out of her. Letting nothing go, the fans said Gina’s apology wasn’t enough, and fans ended up going in on her, even more.
