There were a group of women who were dancing, as it was a part of the festivities. While the women were dancing, a man was watching. As a result, he began dancing with them. When his girlfriend saw him, he was no longer dancing.
Vacations are where people have a chance to relax. For most, they enjoy doing things outside of the norm. Often, the day-to-day of life creates a bit of mundaneness.
