Everybody turned out for Aretha Franklin, at her final, official, funeral, where her family, friends, and other loved ones attended. At Detroit, everybody from Ariana Grande to Bill Clinton was present. Also present was the iconic Gladys Knight.
At the funeral, there was a misunderstanding about Gladys Knight’s statement. People assumed that Gladys Knight also had pancreatic cancer. Many may have forgotten, but Aretha Franklin suffered from the same cancer, for years, and it was her cause of death.
Gladys Knight briefly spoke, and sang, at Aretha Franklin’s funeral. As people were speaking on her health, Gladys Knight’s team addressed the stories. A rep for her spoke out and denied any truth to those stories.
