GloRilla and Cardi B’s “Tomorrow 2” goes 2x platinum
Over the past year and a half, GloRilla has been one of the hottest rappers in the industry. She initially went viral with her “F.N.F. (Let’s go)” single with producer Hitkidd last spring. As a result, that led to a record deal with fellow Memphis native Yo Gotti’s CMG label.
In the fall, GloRilla also scored another major record in “Tomorrow 2.” Furthermore, that included a major feature from Cardi B. That was a massive success, as it went on to debut at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, Tomorrow 2 has reached another major milestone. It’s officially been certified 2x platinum by the RIAA in the US, according to Chart Data. This comes after selling over 2 million units. The visuals for Tomorrow 2 on YouTube are also at over 150 million views. Tomorrow 2 also initially went on to appear on GloRilla’s debut “Anyways, Life’s Great” EP, in November.
In 2023, GloRilla’s momentum has also soared. She ventured on her headlining “Anyways, Life’s Great” Tour. In addition to this, she’s put out singles such as “Internet Trolls” and “Lick Or Sum.”
On Sunday night, GloRilla also scored a nomination at the 2023 BET Awards. This was for Best New Artist.
