GloRilla’s driver gets arrested for gun possession during concert
Over the past year, GloRilla has been one of the biggest new artists in the industry. She went viral last spring, with her “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” single with producer Hitkidd, as it went on to be a summer smash. That record was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Performance, this month. GloRilla has also created other hits over the past year, such as “Blessed” and “Tomorrow 2” featuring Cardi B. In January, Glo went on to release her new “Internet Trolls” single.
Currently, GloRilla is on her “Anyways, Life’s Great” Tour. This was named after her EP, which was released in November. Glo performed in New York City’s Irving Plaza on Wednesday, as she also performed Tomorrow 2 with Cardi. Glo also brought out breakout Brooklyn native, Lola Brooke.
However, GloRilla’s driver was arrested, outside of Irving Plaza, according to TMZ. At the time, this was due to gun possession. The man has been identified as Cameron Blackmon, as metal detector went off, inside the venue. He was found sitting in the driver’s seat of a Suburban, as police went on to discover two semi-automatic pistols.
The exact charge listed against Blackmon is criminal possession of a firearm, ammo and a switchblade. He was also given a parking ticket for being in the neutral zone, located in front of Irving Plaza.
