Grand Theft Auto VI trailer released as game is set to come in 2025

Over the past half decade, “Grand Theft Auto” fans have anxiously been awaiting the sixth installment of the iconic video game series. This comes as the fifth was released a decade ago, in 2013. Moreover, since then, there have been various rumors about then GTA VI would finally arrive.

As a result, on Monday, news finally broke that Grand Theft Auto VI will finally be released sometime in 2025. That came after the trailer for the video game was leaked a day earlier. A Twitter/X account initially leaked it, and as a result, the account went on to be permanently suspended. This may have been due to Rockstar Games filing a complaint. The trailer being leaked also caused Rockstar to release it, immediately, on YouTube.

Meanwhile, GTA VI is also set to take place in Vice City, as that is the same city that “GTA: Vice City” was held in, when that video game was released in 2002. GTA VI will also have its first ever female protagonist, who’s named Lucia. In the video game, she first spends time in prison, and forms a romantic relationship with a crime partner, when she gets out. GTA 6 also has plenty of current-day trends. These include live streams, and other social media platforms.
