One of the oldest figures in hip hop is Grandmaster Caz and he inspires many big figures in the game. Most consider Big Daddy Kane a legend and he cites Grandmaster Caz as one of his sources of inspiration. Although six years have passed since his last release, Grandmaster Caz is active.
Grandmaster Caz talked to Hip Hop Vibe, earlier this year, about the changes hip hop has gone through. He also touched on the possibility of the Cold Crush Brothers reuniting. Since then, Grandmaster Caz has done several interviews.
VladTV recently talked to Grandmaster Caz about the DJs. During the interview, Grandmaster Caz talked about Kool Herc’s role in the game as one of the earliest major DJs. They also spoke on the modern DJs, as they have shifted their roles and are not as needed as they once were.
