On Thursday, Kanye West had social media on fire again, after addressing Billie Eilish, on Instagram. Ye didn’t like that Billie supposedly subliminally dissed Travis Scott, at her recent Atlanta concert. A fan had trouble breathing, and Billie made sure that they got an inhaler. The pop star also emphasized how she takes the time to make her fans are okay, which appeared to be shade towards Travis.

Kanye explained how he wants Billie to apologize to Travis, and that the Astroworld Festival tragedies weren’t his fault. Ye even threatened to pull out of his upcoming Coachella performance, if that apology wasn’t made. Billie is also headlining Coachella.

“Come on Billie we love you please apologize to Trav and to the families of the people who lost their lives no one intended this to happen. Trav didn’t have any idea of what was happening when he was on stage and was very hurt by what happened.”

Now, relatives of one of the Astroworld festival victims is now speaking out. This is the grandparents of 9-year-old Ezra Blount, who died, after falling off of his father’s shoulders, in the crowd of 50,000. Blount’s grandparents are bashing Kanye for his comments towards Billie, and went on to commend Billie, for showing so much support for her fans.

“To hear Kanye’s words, that’s hurtful to us. What an idiotic thing to say,” said Bernon Blount, grandpather of Ezra, to Rolling Stone. That’s crazy that he wants someone to apologize for putting the welfare of someone else before their profits. That’s someone who needed their asthma pump. They could have lost their life, right then. This world is twisted, and we have to stop doing this.”

Ezra’s grandmother, Tericia, also supported Billie, while also heavily condemning Kanye.

“I think it’s just crazy, and I hate to use that word, but I think it’s ridiculous,” said Tericia. “She’s making sure that she is caring for the patrons at her concert, and I just think that’s crazy of Kanye to even let that demand come out of his mouth.”
