Even though the Spurs have slipped, a bit in the fourth quarter, this is still a very close game. Last night, Charles Barkley complained about this year’s playoffs being boring. He said he wanted to see a game decided by less than ten points.
The San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets must’ve decided they would keep this one close for Chuck’s sake. On a serious note, both teams know how important this win is, as it gives them a 3-2 lead. But, for the Spurs, it’s necessary to win at home, or this is two home losses.
It looked like the Rockets were going to pull away in the third quarter, but the Spurs got it together and came into the fourth with a lead. Just before the final stretch began, Gregg Popovich talked to Allie LaForce about how they came back, behind Danny Green’s buzzer-beater. He kept it short and simple on how the Spurs could/should win.
