Colorado woman, age 31, won’t face jail time after affair with 13-year-old boy and having his baby

Grown woman avoids jail time after having 13 year old’s baby

In the state of Colorado, there is outrage, right now. A woman named Andrea Serrano had an inappropriate relationship with a thirteen year old boy. As a result, she had his baby, and she ended up facing charges. However, Serrano has managed to get out of this situation without spending any time behind bars. It turns out, she managed to reach a plea agreement.

The details on how Serrano and this boy became involved are unclear. However, it is somewhat obvious that she was not his teacher. Regardless of how they met, this is the situation, Serrano is 31-years-old, and she is pregnant by a 13-year-old boy. As a result, the boy’s mother is understandably upset with Serrano.

Andrea Serrano testified and said the 13-year-old viewed her as a “mother figure.” Initially, Serrano was charged with two counts of sexual assault. However, those charges were dropped down to a single count of incest, which does not come with mandatory prison time. Serrano took that plea and she will avoid prison time. This has the boy’s mother outraged. As a result, she is suing for custody for the baby.
