If misused, the social networking site can also be potentially harmful to an image a person is trying to maintain. Similar to many other child stars, Amanda Bynes has worked hard to shed her child image.

Usually in doing this, most former child stars end up looking stupid. In the day and age of social media, people cannot wait for someone to be embarrassed online. This is not necessarily right, but it is the norm in this day and age. As it currently stands, the joke is on Amanda Bynes.
